Re Q5: Buddy Ebsen was originally cast as the Tin Man in "The Wizard of Oz", but famously had to withdraw due to his reaction to the aluminium dust used in the make-up, being replaced by Jack Haley. He complained of lung problems from "that damn movie" all his life. Ironically he outlived all the other cast members, dying in 2003 aged 95.
