note: (question 11) Ayers Rock was named after the first person to 'discover' it. However we all know the native Aborigines were here for thousands of years before hand. They called this huge rock which is sacred in their culture 'Uluru' (pronounced oolaroo)
Question one doesn't stipulate immediately to the south of Brisbane, Bondi beach is also south of Brisbane.
Alice Springs is North East of Uluru/Ayers Rock.
Bush fires don't destroy mountain ranges.
And the sacred rock has dual name status Uluru/Ayers Rock.
