The following is a list of wine producing countries and their volume of wine production for the year 2005 and shown in metric tonnes.

Data is reported from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), which is an agency of the United Nations. 

NOTES: 
    - Figures for China refer to all alcoholic beverages, including those that are distilled, and not just wine
    - Serbia and Montenegro dissolved their union in 2006, later than the source of this data
